Lemon water for stress

Here's a healthy routine that is recommended for daily drinking.

I've began doing this recently after hearing a homeopath doctor preach the benefits on a talk show.

Squeezing a lemon in water every morning, that can't be too difficult, right?

Lemons have come down in price a lot recently, so one thing to do is add 7 extra lemons to your grocery list so you have a lemon a day and you're set to go for the week. If you want to do half a lemon that's fine too, I can't see why not!

All you need is lemon, and water (a nice warm temperature, so I boil the kettle and let it sit to come to a comfortable drinking temperature)

Some other things to add in are Ginger root, and Cayenne pepper, as well as honey for sweetness.

I boil the ginger and water, or steep fresh ginger root in a cup with hot boiled water then let it come to the warm temperature on it's own, then I squeeze the lemon juice in and it's ready. You can remove the ginger root and sweeten with honey if you like. And if you're brave add a dash of cayenne pepper. This is the concoction in the yellow glass while the one at the front is simply lemon water and some honey.

If you want to drink lemon and water without a sweetener then that's perfectly fine too! Maple Syrup (the real stuff) has a lot of benefit so alternately try using it as a sweetener.

Take this drink half and hour to an hour before your breakfast, so as soon as you're up, then later have a good healthy breakfast and go about your day.

This is also great drink to cleanse your insides, alkalise your body and de-stress as well as provide extra vitamin C and a whole lot of other good things for your health so give it a try and see how you feel.

Here's a list of benefits for Cayenne pepper too, and if you've got ulcers or have been told to stay away from cayenne then by all means check with a professional before trying this.
